Course Description
The Heartsaver CPR in Schools course is designed to teach both
adult and pediatric (infant/child) CPR to middle and high school
students. The course presents information about recognizing the
signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, and choking. It teaches
rescuers lifesaving CPR skills, how to use an AED, and how to
relieve choking.

The course has been organized into 40-minute blocks so that it
can easily be integrated into the typical middle or high school class
schedule. It promotes wide-spread training in CPR at a low cost.
